I suppose many people have 10-12 cup coffee makers. Little did I know that Swiss Gold has decided to render this a no longer manufactured product unless it is ordered in 500 unit batches. I have owned this filter for five years and just wanted a "back up". I do not; mine is but a 4-cup which is sufficient to put me on the caffeine ceiling. That is why no small vendor has it in stock. It is heart-breaking, because it is a fabulous filter. But if you can find this filter, do your self a favor and BUY IT. BUY IT.
I used to use paper cone filters to make individual cups of coffee. Now I use the gold filter and it is much better. The taste is better as less of the oils get trapped in the paper filter, and I am not throwing away another paper filter every time I make coffee. The gold filter is easy to clean and works very well.
Purchased as a replacement for an exact filter that I have been using for eight years.This is an excellent coffee filter.Leave no metallic or paper taste like other filters do.It can be rinsed or washed with dish detergent and reused for years.
